Basic knowledge of crane

Basic knowledge of crane:

1. Track gauge and base gauge

The track gauge refers to the horizontal distance between the center lines of the traveling rails of the rail mounted cranes or trolleys (bridge crane refers to the span). The base gauge refers to the distance between the center lines of the two legs of the crane along the rail direction. For the trackless cranes, it is usually called the track gauge and wheelbase.

2. Lifting mechanism

The drive way is as follows: the motor drives the high-speed shaft of the reducer through the high-speed shaft coupling, increases the torque through the reducer, and the low-speed shaft drives the drum through the low-speed shaft coupling. The wire rope from the drum is connected with the pickup device through the guide pulley and the labor-saving lifting pulley block. Since the motor can rotate forward and backward, the drum can wind or release the lifting rope to achieve the lifting of goods.

3. Operation structure

According to its characteristics, it can be divided into two categories: working and non working. Working operation structure cooperates with other institutions to transport goods. The non operating operating mechanism is generally used to adjust the working position of the crane. According to the structural characteristics, it can be divided into trackless and trackless operation. The trackless operation mechanism can be divided into self driven and traction based on whether there is a driving device in the operation part. The driving modes of the running mechanism include centralized driving and separate driving. Centralized drive is only suitable for small span cranes or cranes.

4.Working level of crane

Because different cranes or different mechanisms in a crane have different loads and action times, the fatigue and wear degree of mechanisms and their parts will not be the same for different cranes. Therefore, the crane and its mechanism should be divided into different working levels according to different situations, providing a unified standard for scientific and reasonable design, manufacturing and selection of cranes and their parts. The working level is divided according to the utilization level and load state of the crane. The working level of each mechanism of a crane can be different, and the working level of the whole crane and its metal structure is determined according to the working level of its main lifting mechanism. More specifically, the working level of the crane is closely related to safety. For cranes with the same lifting capacity, span and lifting height, if the working levels are different, the safety factors used in the design are different, and the models and specifications of the selected parts are also different.

5. Utilization level of crane

What is the utilization level of the crane: due to different places and objects of use, the utilization level of the crane is also different, some are not used frequently, and some are busy.
