What types of cranes are there? Crane is a lifting machine used in highway and bridge construction. According to its structure and characteristics, it can generally be divided into four categories: light and small lifting equipment, bridge crane, portal crane and tower crane.

1. Light and small hoisting equipment

2. Bridge crane.

3. Gantry crane

Gantry crane is the deformation of bridge crane. It is applicable to the loading and unloading of goods and bulk goods in outdoor freight stations, stone plants. Its metal structure is like a door pocket. Two supporting feet are installed under the bearing beam, which can walk on the road rails immediately. There will be external fixed beams on both sides of the bearing beam.

4. Tower crane

Tower crane, also known as tower crane for short, originated in Europe. The rotating crane is installed above the tower. Large indoor space during work, applicable to vertical and horizontal transportation of raw materials and installation of building materials in construction. It consists of metal structure, organization in work and electrical control system.
